Sunday 21th December 2025 is the 1st Ra\u01e7ab according to the Islamic calendar and marks the beginning of the Holy Three Months (Ra\u01e7ab, \u0160a\u02bfb\u0101n and Rama\u1e0d\u0101n) which is considered among Muslims as the beginning of a particularly blessed time.<\/p>\n
The night of Ra\u0121\u0101\u02beib (arab. lailat ar-Ra\u0121\u0101\u02beib, t\u00fcrk. Regaib Kandili) introduces us to the Holy Three Months and will be celebrated during the night of 25th December 2025 (on the night of Thursday to Friday). The month of Ra\u01e7ab and the night of Ra\u0121\u0101\u02beib are considered to be harbingers of the month of Ramadan – the sacred month of fasting. The Prophet (PBUH) used to repeat the following prayer: \u201cO Lord, bless us Ra\u01e7ab and \u0160a\u02bfb\u0101n and lead us to Ramadan\u201c. (A\u1e25mad b. \u1e24anbal, al-Musnad, 1\/259).<\/p>\n
By recommending this prayer, the Prophet (PBUH) wanted to indicate and emphasize on the importance and meaning of these months. For the believer, the months of Ra\u01e7ab and \u0160a\u02bfb\u0101nshall be a period of spiritual and physical preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, encouraging to more intensive worship and supplication (\u1e0fikr) seeking nearness to Allah. The Holy Three Months is a period in which worshipping (\u02bfib\u0101d\u0101t) will be rewarded manifold, prayers are answered, and sins will be forgiven. In the Islamic tradition, the Holy Three Months are also considered as the highlight of charity, helpfulness and tolerance. Thus, we shall bargain from this opportunity and use our time in the best manner to turn to God and to strive for Good.<\/p>\n\n
