With the end of the blessed month of Ramadan Muslims around the world celebrate the blessed Ramadan feast (Arabic: \u02bfEid al-Fitr; turk: Ramazan Bayram\u0131), which is considered next to the Feast of Sacrifice (Arabic: \u02bfEid al-Adha) as the most important feast in celebrated Islam. It lasts three days and is committed as a result of the sighting of the crescent moon in the month following \u0160aww\u0101l. KUDEM wishes on this occasion all Muslim people all the best and a joyful together among your families, neighbors and friends.<\/p>\n
For one month, Muslims had the opportunity to remember gratitude, humility, and charity, and strengthen the importance and intensity of fraternal solidarity. As a time of joy, of cohesion and reconciliation Ramadan has very special position. In addition to these social aspects of the fasting, the month of Ramadan provided each individual the possibility of a mental and spiritual cleansing.<\/p>\n
In one of the Prophet\u2019s Muhammad (pbuh) saying the redemption of the entire past wrongdoings of a sincere fasting person is promised: “Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.” (Al-Bukhari: \u012am\u0101n 28). The believer could intensify his relationship to God and do useful good deeds and abandon from bad habits, which also shall be kept beyond the month of Ramadan and moreover for the entire lifetime. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) recommended in this regard: \u201cThe most beloved prayer to the Prophet (SAW) was the one that was done regularly (throughout the life) even if it were little, and whenever the Prophet offered a prayer he used to offer it regularly.\u201d (Al-Bukhari, \u012am\u0101n, 32; Muslim, Mis\u0101fir\u012bn, 221).<\/p>\n
Another benefit of this month were the traditional Iftar-meals in which new friendships emerged \u2013 both between Muslims as wells as with non-Muslims. These meetings have shown that a collaborative coexistence of different religions and cultures based on respect and tolerance is possible and enriches the society.<\/p>\n
