On Monday, 22th June 2015, the Iftar of Prime Minister Kretschmann took place at the Schwetzingen Palace. A delegation of KUDEM and IFIS&IZ followed the invitation of Prime Minister of the federal state Baden Württemberg Mr. Kretschmann and participated, also as representatives of honorable Prof. Dr. Hüseyin İlker Çınar. The delegation handed over the first publication of the IFIS&IZ to Prime Minister Kretschmann: “Spirituality in Religion and Culture: Judaism – Christianity – Islam” which has been edited by Prof. Dr. Hüseyin İlker Çınar and Prof. Raif Georges Khoury. Prime Minister Kretschmann expressed his appreciation and has shown great interest about the work of KUDEM and IFIS&IZ.
Besides Prime Minister Kretschmann, also the Minister of Finance and Ecnomomy Dr. Nils Schmid, the Minister of Integration Bilkay Öney and the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Karlsruhe Serhat Aksen participated at the highly decorated Iftar at the Schwetzingen Palace.
